Ever since I saw the idea of gallery walls on Pinterest I’ve been itching to make one of my own. I finally got around to making one and love it! Throw pillows and frames seem to be one of my weaknesses, but there’s only so many frames you can display on a shelf without it looking cluttered. Gallery walls are the perfect solution for displaying your collection while reducing the amount of “stuff” on a table top, bed side stand or shelf. They’re also super easy to make.
Follow the steps below to make your own.
Step 1: Gather the frames/prints/signs you want to hang and then outline them with scotch tape (as seen in the image above).
Step 2: Arrange your frames on the floor to represent how you’d like them displayed on the wall.
Step 3: Carefully remove the tape from the picture that you’ve lined and place it on the wall to mirror where you want the frame/print to be hung on the wall.
Step 4: Once you are satisfied with where the the frames/prints will be hung on the wall, begin hanging your pictures! You can leave the tape on the wall until everything is hung and once you’re satisfied you can go ahead and remove the tape.
The best thing about creating a gallery wall is that it is ever evolving. You can switch up the photos and prints, and add to the wall! We just got all of our wedding photos back so there will definitely be some new additions to the wall.
